What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing a large, multi-site engineering team responsible for the design and verification of advanced IP Cores for connectivity protocols.
  • Setting strategic direction for project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Establishing and optimizing technical processes, quality standards, and best practices for ASIC design and verification.
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Driving technical innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging tools, methodologies, and AI-based automation solutions.
  • Collaborating with customers, stakeholders, and upper management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Overseeing hiring, team expansion, and resource allocation to support business growth and project scalability.

What You’ll Need:

  • BSEE with 18+ years or MSEE with 16+ years of experience in VLSI design and verification, with at least 10 years as an individual contributor before management.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASIC design methodologies, verification strategies, and protocols such as PCIe, MIPI-UFS, Unipro, SD-MMC, Ethernet, USB, and AMBA.
  • Hands-on experience with Verilog/System Verilog coding, simulation tools, synthesis flow, static timing analysis, and formal checking.
  • Proficiency in UVM/VMM/OVM/eRM-based verification methodologies, test bench creation, constrained random verification, and coverage management.
  • Experience with Perforce or similar revision control systems, and exposure to quality processes for IP design and verification.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience in team setup, scaling to 50+ engineers, and multi-site coordination.
