You Are: An experienced and driven engineer with a passion for innovation and SoC design. You possess a strong understanding of processor-based SoC level verification, including native Verilog, System Verilog, and UVM mixed environments. You have hands-on experience with verification tools such as VCS, waveform analyzer, and third-party VIP integration, particularly Synopsys VIPs. Your problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and debugging abilities are top-notch. You are a collaborative team player who can work alongside architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams. Your communication skills are excellent, and you thrive in an environment that requires innovative solutions and independent implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Understanding design specifications, defining verification scopes, developing test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure.
  • Implementing and analyzing System Verilog assertions and coverage (code, toggle, functional).
  • Collaborating with verification team members to develop and execute verification test cases and provide relevant solutions to issues.
  • Working closely with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams to accomplish tasks.
  • Adhering to quality standards and best practices in test and verification.
  • Ramp-up on new verification tools and methodologies using Synopsys products to enable customers.
  • Developing innovative solutions to problems with little guidance and implementing them independently.
  • Setting task-level goals and consistently meeting schedules.
  • Collaborating with other Synopsys teams, including BU AEs and Sales, to develop, broaden, and deploy Tool and IP solutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in SoC/IP/Subsystems verification domain.
  • Proficiency in processor-based SoC level verification including native Verilog, System Verilog, and UVM mixed environments.
  • Hands-on experience with verification tools such as VCS, waveform analyzer, and third-party VIP integration (e.g., Synopsys VIPs).
  • Proficiency in UVM, C/C++, System Verilog verification language.
  • Strong understanding of AXI-AMBA protocol variants.
  • Ability to work with scripting languages (Shell, Makefile, Perl).
  • Solid understanding of design concepts and ASIC flow.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Prior experience with ARM core-based Subsystem verification is desirable.
  • Prior experience with USB, PCIe, MIPI Protocols is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills.
