Introduction

  • Our Digital Team is seeking talented students who are willing to learn and consistent in long-term goals to prepare for the next generation of professional IC Design/Verification engineers at Synopsys.
  • If you are a 4th-year student or currently preparing for your final thesis in university, and looking for opportunity to gain experience in IC design, this position is suitable for you.


Internship program

  • 3 months hands-on project-based training with guidance from experienced members of the Digital team (focused on company training projects or student final thesis that aligns with the company’s interests).
    • Phase 1: 1-month fundamental training on digital design flow and verification basic
    • Phase 2: Advance training and Mini project in which student is trained on real work of verification engineer
  • Complete all reports, reviews, and evaluations during the internship period.
  • Program timeline: Tentative from Dec, 2024 in 3 months duration.


Requirements

  • Final year students, major in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Automation & Control, Computer Science or other related majors. (not yet graduated during the internship period, expecting to graduate in 2025).
  • Latest GPA > 3/4 or 7.0/10
  • Good English communication (Writing and Speaking)
  • Great team player willing to support others.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Have a basic understanding of Computer Architecture, CMOS VLSI Design, and Digital Design.
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL) is a plus.
  • Have experience with digital design/verification-related projects (subject/laboratory/self-taught projects) is a plus.
