  • Create software tools, APIs, and components that support evaluation, validation, and performance analysis for PCIe solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and software teams to develop and debug both software and hardware.
  • Implement test suites, diagnostic tools, and automation to validate PCIe protocol compliance, performance, and reliability.
  • Support user interface and API development for evaluation and debugging of PCIe IP features.
  • Analyze hardware-software interactions, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in root-cause analysis across board, chip, IP, protocol, and software layers.
  • Pre-test Software Evaluation Kits, preparing evaluation boards for demos, and providing technical support during customer demonstrations.
  • Design and deploy novel automation solutions (including CI/CD) to improve software development and release flows.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Empowering customers and internal teams to rapidly evaluate and deploy next-generation PCIe IP solutions.
  • Enabling robust validation flows that ensure performance, reliability, and protocol compliance.
  • Accelerating hardware bring-up and troubleshooting, reducing time-to-market for cutting-edge silicon products.

  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong familiarity with CI/CD concepts and workflows.
  • Expertise in Python, C++, or similar languages, with experience in embedded, driver, or system-level software development.
  • Experience using and interpreting results from lab instrumentation (e.g., BERTs, oscilloscopes) for high-speed signal validation and analysis.
  • Understanding of test automation, software revision control, continuous integration, protocol analyzers, and lab measurement tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to debug and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience developing evaluation software or test automation frameworks for high-speed IP, knowledge of signal integrity, compliance testing, and PCIe ecosystem tools, and experience supporting board bring-up or evaluation processes.

Who You Are:

  • Innovative problem-solver who thrives in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong communicator, able to articulate technical concepts and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Detail-oriented and methodical, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
