Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and consultant for Synopsys RTL-2-GDS products - focus on STA, ECO, Timing constraint development, Power analysis and Signoff tools.
• Be able to articulate design methodologies involving Synopsys Design Implementation, Signoff tools and be elevator-talk proficient in the full Synopsys tool portfolio. 
• Assesses potential application of Synopsys products to meet customer needs. 
• Be able to play various support roles including training, product installation, problem resolution, methodology guidance, Tape out support and technical account management.
• May build a mini application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application and provide consultation to prospective users on product capability assessment and validation.

Skills Requirements:

• BSEE or equivalence, required with 3+ years of experience, or MSEE or equivalence, with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong design experience with digital implementation is required.
• Strong design skill in either Signoff (Timing, Power, ECO) or Frontend (STA, Synthesis, Formality).
• Expertise in programming with UNIX shell/Perl/Tcl and other scripting languages a plus.
• Knowledge of phenomenon/characteristic in advance technology such as FINFET (<= 16nm) are desirable
• Good command in English.
• Effective communication skills, excellent customer interface, negotiation communication, and planning skills are required.
• Multiplex many issues & set priorities, operate independently and effectively with little supervision on day-to-day work. Determines and develops innovative recommendations to solutions independently.
• Occasional travel within Asia Pacific and to the US up to 3 months each time is expected.
