You Are:

As an Applications Engineer, Staff Engineer, you are passionate about technology and innovation. You possess a deep understanding of RTL low power design, verification, and power analysis. You thrive in problem-solving scenarios and have a knack for understanding complex systems at both the architectural and system levels. You are a proactive team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working directly with customers to deploy verification tools and methodologies, resolve technical issues, and provide technical training. Your expertise in chip design and verification, coupled with your ability to create testbenches and run verification regressions, makes you an invaluable asset. You are comfortable with scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl, CSH, BASH, and Makefile, and your proficiency in reading and writing technical specifications in English is commendable. Experience with UVM verification, UPF verification, power reduction, and analysis on RTL design, as well as familiarity with protocols like AMBA, USB, PCIE, DDRx, and tools like VCS, Verdi, and Spyglass, are highly desirable.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the sale and adoption of Synopsys Verification solutions.
  • Driving the effort to enable verification methodology and solutions for customers using Synopsys Verification tools.
  • Working directly with customers to assist with the deployment of verification tools and methodologies.
  • Resolving technical issues and providing technical training to customers.
  • Creating and maintaining testbenches and running verification regressions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption of Synopsys Verification solutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • A college degree (or above) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • In-depth knowledge of RTL low power design, verification, and power analysis.
  • Experience in chip design or verification environment architecture.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl, CSH, BASH, and Makefile.
  • Fluency in reading and writing technical specifications in English.
