You Are:

You are an accomplished engineering professional, passionate about driving breakthroughs in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) for next-generation silicon technologies. With over a decade of hands-on software engineering experience, you possess deep expertise in C++ development, data structures, and algorithms, thriving in the Unix/Linux environment. Your advanced knowledge of 3DIC design flows, place and route methodologies, and cutting-edge process nodes enables you to tackle complex technical challenges with confidence and creativity.

You are consistently proactive and self-motivated, taking ownership of projects and delivering robust solutions. You communicate effectively, bridging gaps between technical and non-technical teams, and excel in collaborative, cross-functional environments. Your analytical mind and meticulous attention to detail drive your problem-solving approach, while your organizational skills help you manage multiple priorities with ease. Eager to learn and adapt, you embrace new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving semiconductor landscape. If you hold a PhD in a relevant EDA field, your advanced research and innovation skills will be highly valued. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and developing advanced EDA software solutions for 3DIC integration and place-and-route flows.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architect scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Implementing and optimizing complex algorithms for silicon design and verification.
  • Driving process improvements and introducing innovative methodologies to enhance product capabilities.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, sharing expertise, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Conducting research and evaluating emerging technologies to integrate into Synopsys’ product roadmap.
  • Participating in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure robust software delivery.

What You’ll Need:

  • Advanced knowledge of C++ and strong hands-on experience in EDA software development.
  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Expertise in 3DIC design flow, place and route, and advanced process nodes.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering or related fields.
  • PhD degree in relevant EDA fields is a plus.
