You are a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys helping users resolve technical issues and keep their tools and services running smoothly. You work well in a global, collaborative environment and bring a practical, service-oriented approach to troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and access-related problems. You are organized, responsive, and committed to delivering a high-quality support experience while continuously improving processes and documentation.


What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Providing day-to-day IT support for end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues.

• Managing and resolving tickets within agreed service levels, ensuring timely updates and clear communication with users.

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and standard business applications.

• Supporting user onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and access management in line with company policies.

• Assisting with workstation setups, office moves, meeting room technology, and other local IT operational needs.

• Documenting solutions, contributing to knowledge articles, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams when needed.

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, or a similar technical support role.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments, common business applications, and endpoint devices. Linux experience would be an advantage.

• Good working knowledge of identity and access tools, ticketing systems, and standard IT support processes.

• Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and remote connectivity troubleshooting.

• Experience with hardware setup, software installation, peripheral support, and device lifecycle activities.

• Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple support requests, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

• Willingness to travel within Europe.

The Team You’ll Be a Part Of: 

You will be part of the IT Organization at Synopsys, supporting employees by delivering reliable and responsive technical assistance. The team works across locations and time zones to maintain a productive end-user computing environment, support core workplace technologies, and ensure a strong customer support experience. 

Travel to other sites in Sweden and Denmark (Copenhagen) will be required on a regular basis and travel to other European and International locations may be needed.
