You Are:

You are an analog design and simulation expert, bringing with you a curiosity in designing SerDes analog sub-systems and behavioral modeling. You ensure models accurately reflect circuit behavior, collaborating across teams and using automation to raise fidelity. Detail-oriented and proactive, you thrive in fast-paced environments, drive quality, and share best practices to advance team goals.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with analog circuit teams for SPICE-vs-model correlation and model quality sign-off.
  • Develop/refine behavioral models for SerDes analog blocks (TX/RX, ADC, DAC, etc.).
  • Capture impairments and calibration ranges in models for realistic analog-digital handoff.
  • Work with digital verification to ensure edge-cases and analog interactions are tested.
  • Automate comparison flows to improve model fidelity.
  • Embed non-idealities and verify behavioral netlist integrity with RNM teams.

What You’ll Need:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 5+ years’ experience.
  • If not already an expert, a desire to develop grow your analog design skills in SerDes analog blocks (TX/RX, ADC, DAC, etc.).
  • Ability to model impairments and integrate them into behavioral/RNM models.
  • Fluency in SPICE tools and waveform analysis.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, TCL, Perl, C/C++).
