This role is part of the IP Group (IPG) Quality Organization and is responsible for driving improvements in sustaining our quality management systems and processes used in the development of semiconductor intellectual property (IP). The position operates with minimal supervision, provides technical leadership, and works independently on complex, cross‑organizational quality initiatives
You Are:
You have 10+ years in semiconductor design and development, with deep expertise in quality management and process automation. You’re a technical leader and mentor, skilled at collaborating across global teams. Your knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and ability to drive workflow improvements make you a key contributor to organizational success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Understand and support the IPG Quality Management System (QMS) activities aligned with ISO 9001 and related standards
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for planning, execution, and continuous improvement programs across global IPG teams
- Interface with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Product Development, Methodology, and Applications Engineering to ensure quality requirements are understood and applied
- Drive automation and workflow improvements to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability of quality processes
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and quality contributors across IPG
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong experience (10+ years) in semiconductor design and development environment, including tools, systems, and workflows
- Hands‑on experience with a Quality Management Systems, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent
- Solid understanding of requirements‑driven development, configuration management, change management, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead complex initiatives with broad organizational impact
- Experience driving process automation, workflow digitization, or quality data analytics
- Experience working across multiple sites and global teams
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority
