You Are:
You are an experienced analog design engineer, passionate about pushing the boundaries of high-speed custom circuit development. With a solid academic foundation in Electrical, Electronics, or VLSI Engineering and significant hands-on experience, you thrive in dynamic environments where innovation and precision are paramount. You are skilled at translating complex system requirements into robust circuit solutions, ensuring optimal power, area, and performance outcomes. Your expertise spans nanometer CMOS technologies, mixed-signal analog circuit design, and physical layout optimization. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing full custom analog circuit macros for high-speed SERDES PHY IP, including transceivers, voltage/current-mode drivers, PLLs, DLLs, equalizers (CTLE, FFE, DFE), impedance calibrators, serializers/deserializers, VCOs, phase interpolators, bandgap references, and clock data recovery circuits.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams locally and globally to refine circuit implementations and achieve optimal power, area, and performance targets.
- Ensuring analog sub-block performance adheres to SerDes standards and architecture specification documents.
- Leading verification strategies using advanced simulator features to guarantee the highest quality design outcomes.
- Overseeing physical layout processes to minimize parasitic effects, device stress, and process variations.
- Presenting simulation data for peer and customer reviews, and documenting design features and test plans.
- Consulting on electrical characterization and supporting the integration of your circuit within the SerDes IP product.
- Handcrafting high-performance clock and data paths using digital/CMOS logic cells and verifying timing margins with SPICE and STA tools.
- Addressing ESD and latch-up design verification, crosstalk coupling impacts, and ensuring robust mixed-signal analog design.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s (BE) plus 5 years or Master’s (MTech) plus 4 years of relevant experience in mixed-signal analog/custom circuit design.
- Strong understanding of CMOS circuit design fundamentals, device physics, layout, parasitic extraction, and sub-micron methodologies.
- Expertise in analog transistor-level circuit design in nanometer technologies.
- Familiarity with multi-Gbps high-speed designs and protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, SATA, and USB.
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation, static timing analysis (STA), and using digital/CMOS logic cells for high-performance datapath design.
- Experience with ESD/latch-up design verification and crosstalk coupling analysis in mixed-signal environments.
