We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You are the person who can walk into a room full of engineers, product leads, and automation experts, and turn a tangle of release dependencies into a plan that actually ships. You have run technical programs where "done" means tested, integrated, and delivered, not just committed to the repo. You know the difference between a patch that passes regression and one that silently breaks downstream, and you do not let the latter slip through. You live in dashboards, command lines, and status update calls, but what matters to you is getting real products out the door, not just checking boxes. When a build breaks at midnight, you are the one who figures out if it is a script, a config, or just a missing conversation between teams. You do not shy away from the details, whether it is a Makefile tweak, a Perforce merge, or a cross-team handoff in Noida and beyond. You make automation your ally, not an afterthought, and you are always looking for the next improvement that will save the team an hour or a headache. When things get tense before a release, you do not flinch. You lean in, organize, and shepherd the delivery to the finish line.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the technical program management for the ZeBu and Solutions family, overseeing release schedules, patch convergence, and process alignment
  • Coordinate between R&D, DevOps, Product Validation, Management, and Application Engineering to keep everyone in sync on deliverables and timelines
  • Track, report, and drive the on-time resolution of issues across builds, regression testing, and release cycles
  • Maintain and enhance internal dashboards and web portals for real-time release and test tracking, using HTML, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript as needed
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of configuration management using tools like Git, Perforce, Make, and industry-standard CM practices in a Unix environment
  • Lead and implement automation initiatives to improve release quality and team productivity, writing scripts in Perl, Shell, or whatever the job demands
  • Monitor and integrate quality tools like Coverity, valgrind, and gcov to ensure code health and compliance before every release

The Impact You Will Have

  • Shorten release cycles and boost the team’s confidence by delivering on-time, high-quality releases for ZeBu and Solutions
  • Make cross-team collaboration less painful and more productive by being the go-to interface for tough technical and process questions
  • Spot and resolve bottlenecks in configuration management before they become delivery blockers
  • Raise the bar for automation, freeing engineers from manual tasks and reducing the risk of human error
  • Give everyone—from management to validation—real-time visibility into release status and quality, cutting down on status noise and surprises
  • Reduce post-release firefighting by catching integration and quality issues early, thanks to your dashboards, reports, and hands-on oversight
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by piloting and scaling new process and automation ideas

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from a reputed university
  • 3+ years of hands-on program or release management experience in software products, VLSI, or EDA domains
  • Strong command of configuration management tools and workflows: Git, Perforce, Make, and Unix environments
  • Practical experience with scripting (Perl, Shell) and automation for build, test, and release processes
  • Familiarity with ASIC, FPGA, or digital design concepts; EDA domain experience is a plus
  • Experience with tools like Coverity, valgrind, gcov, and web-based reporting using HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript is valued
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process, handle conflicting priorities, and deliver under pressure

Who You Are

  • You can explain a release risk to a product lead in two sentences, with no hand waving
  • You do not wait for someone else to fix a broken script or dashboard—you dig in and solve it, or find the right person who can
  • You thrive in cross-functional setups and know how to nudge, remind, and push teams without burning bridges
  • You spot gaps in process and do not just highlight them, you propose and pilot solutions—especially if automation is involved
  • You treat every release as a customer-facing event, whether the customer is internal or external, and quality is non-negotiable
  • You take ownership for outcomes, not just tasks, and you follow through until the job is truly done
