You Are:
You are a seasoned professional with a passion for analog and mixed-signal layout design. You thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment, bringing extensive experience in IC layout productivity tools. With a critical eye for detail, you are proficient in developing specifications and creative solutions, ensuring reliability and adherence to existing procedures. Your experience spans over a decade, marked by a strong foundation in electrical engineering and a deep understanding of high-speed PHY designs such as SERDES, DDR, or HBM. You possess advanced programming skills in Python, Perl, and TCL, and have a knack for automation to meet rapid and dynamic design needs. Your communication skills are excellent, both written and verbal, making you an effective team player. Additionally, your knowledge of machine learning paradigms and their application in modeling, circuit design flow, and simulations makes you a valuable asset. You are motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working across multiple functional teams to drive engineering excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and refining IC layout productivity tools to enhance design efficiency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions for analog and mixed-signal layout designs.
- Utilizing CustomCompiler, StarRC, and ICV layout design and verification tools to ensure high-quality output.
- Engaging in the design and verification of high-speed PHY designs, including SERDES, DDR, and HBM.
- Programming in Python, Perl, and TCL to automate design processes and improve productivity.
- Applying machine learning techniques to optimize modeling, circuit design flows, and simulations.

What You’ll Need:
- MSEE (or PhD) with over 10 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal layout design.
- Proficiency with CustomCompiler, StarRC, and ICV layout design and verification tools.
- Experience with spice simulators, including HSPICE, PrimeSim/FineSim, and PrimeWave.
- Advanced programming skills in Python, Perl, and TCL.
- Direct design experience in high-speed PHY such as SERDES, DDR, or HBM.
