What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and assist in coordinating technical activities throughout the sales lifecycle, including discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
- Provide technical leadership on Ansys product offerings, guiding customers to maximize sales opportunities and solution adoption.
- Act as a product expert in Digital Mission Engineering (DME) software such as Systems Tool Kit (STK) and Orbit Determination Tool Kit (ODTK), analyzing customer requirements and articulating Ansys’ value proposition.
- Develop and implement holistic system-level solutions by integrating technologies like model-based systems engineering, simulation process/data management, and design optimization.
- Collaborate with Ansys Customer Excellence teams and customers to integrate high-fidelity analytical models into system-level solutions.
- Operate as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team to assist customers in performing analyses, solving engineering problems, and deploying custom software solutions.
- Work closely with product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product features and test new releases on industrial applications.
- Contribute to consulting services and conduct training classes for customers and internal teams.
- Partner with sales teams to strategize and execute approaches that maximize sales objectives within key accounts.
- Work onsite with customers to implement software best practices and address real-world engineering challenges.
- Design and develop programming user interfaces, automation scripts, and integration code to support customer applications.
- Support field and digital marketing initiatives, author conference presentations, and engage in industry events.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment (BS+5, MS+3, PhD+0).
- Demonstrated use of Ansys software or knowledge of commercial process integration, optimization, systems engineering, mission simulation, PLM, PDM, SPDM, and CAD tools.
- Programming experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, MATLAB, Python, or scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with industry tools like AFSIM, Cameo, ModelCenter, or similar.
- Strong logical problem-solving skills and technical aptitude for integrating and deploying complex engineering solutions.
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires compliance with Canadian government security and/or access requirements. As a result, only Canadian citizens are eligible for this position.
