You Are:
You are a highly motivated individual with a passion for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient infrastructure. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a knack for automating repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency. Your strong technical background in cloud and on-premise infrastructure, coupled with your expertise in programming and scripting, makes you an ideal candidate for the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role. You are a proactive problem-solver, adept at troubleshooting complex systems and networks, and you have a strong commitment to ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, deploy, and maintain public cloud and private infrastructure to support Synopsys SaaS offerings
- Automate - as much as possible - all technical operations
- Set up monitoring, logging, and tracing tools to detect and fix any potential issues
- Troubleshoot cloud/on-premise infrastructure, systems, network, and application stacks
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
- Implement security best practices to safeguard infrastructure and data

What You’ll Need:
- BS in Computer Science/Information Technology; MS is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, operations engineering, or similar discipline
- Solid knowledge in Kubernetes and Docker
- Significant experience with infrastructure as code tools (Kustomize, Kubespray, Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with GitOps tools (Flux or ArgoCD)
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience in managing Ceph, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch clusters
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Perl, Java)
- Experience building scalable infrastructure in one public cloud provider is a distinct advantage
- Knowledge in Jenkins or similar tool for CI/CD is an advantage

You will be a key member of the Silicon Lifecycle Analytics Operations team, which focuses on designing and developing programmatic infrastructure and automation to build, maintain, and improve Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions. The team is dedicated to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems, and works collaboratively to drive continuous technological innovation.
