What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform software product testing and investigate possible causes of issues in accordance with development and testing processes.
• Analyze requirements and develop suitable tests for new features within the appropriate environment.
• Create, update, and modify existing tests as needed to ensure product quality.
• Conduct functional, application, regression, and performance tests in manual and/or automated environments
• Detect and document software defects, collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Participate in code development and programming processes.

What You’ll Need:

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering degree.
• Must be enrolled full-time and returning to university after the internship concludes.
• Solid computing skills, with demonstrated knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and programming/scripting languages.

Preferred:

• Experience with C/C++ and Python programming.
• Familiarity with computer-aided software engineering tools and engineering principles.
• Ability to learn quickly and collaborate in a geographically distributed team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong planning and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

Key Program Facts:

• Program Length: 3 months (May 2026 – August 2026), 40 hours/week
• Location: Remote or on-site within Canada
• Working Model: Hybrid (mix of remote and in-office work as required)
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
• Start Date: May 4, 2026 or May 11, 2026
• Salary Information: The base salary range across Canada for this role is between $38.00-$41.00 CAD per hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details upon request.
