What You’ll Be Doing:

• Make improvements to the Ansys Product Improvement Program analytics system.
• Develop prototypes and test new solution strategies or algorithms.
• Investigate defects in existing code and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Analyze results and communicate findings using visualization software.

What You’ll Need:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• Expert level programming experience with Python.
• Expert level relational database management using SQL.
• Solid background in algorithms and data structures.
• Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn.
• Some background in data science and/or machine learning.
• Preferred: Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, Power BI, C++, multi-threaded or parallel programming.

• Program Length: 4 months
• Location: Canada (remote)
• Working Model: 100% Remote
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Start Date: Summer 2026 (May to August 2026)
• Salary Information: The base salary range across Canada for this role is between $38.00-$41.00 CAD per hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details upon request.
