What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Specify and write test cases, create, modify, and update existing tests, and maintain test scripts for cutting-edge simulation software.
  • Perform functional, application, regression, and performance testing in manual and/or automated test environments, investigating possible causes of issues.
  • Create comprehensive test plans, actively participate in defect management, and contribute to testing metrics.
  • Apply standard techniques and procedures, ensuring compliance with company-wide development and testing processes.
  • Work across diverse computing environments including Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud platforms.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mechanical Thermal Analysis.
  • Proficient knowledge in Python and shell scripting.
  • Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively within a geographically distributed team.

Key Program Facts:

  • Program Length: 3 months, May 2026 – August 2026.
  • Location: Waterloo, ON, Canada.
  • Working Model: Flex capacity (hybrid: combination of on-site and remote work).
  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
  • Start Date: May 2026.
  • Salary Information: The base salary range across Canada for this role is between $38.00-$41.00 CAD per hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details upon request.
