You Are:

You are a strategic facilities leader with a passion for creating world-class workplace environments that empower teams to achieve their best. Your experience spans large commercial or technology organizations, where you’ve successfully managed complex, multi-site portfolios and built high-performing, resilient teams. You are adept at navigating a fast-paced, high-tech environment, balancing operational excellence with innovative solutions that anticipate and meet business needs.

You thrive in cross-functional settings, collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders from HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and executive leadership. You are known for your ability to translate business objectives into actionable facilities strategies, always with a keen eye for cost optimization, sustainability, and service quality. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to present confidently at the executive level and foster strong partnerships with vendors, landlords, and internal teams alike.

You are comfortable leading change—whether it’s through major renovations, workplace redesigns, or implementing new technology systems to elevate facilities operations. Your approach to facilities management is proactive, data-driven, and rooted in continuous improvement. 


What You’ll Be Doing:

Partnering with Country Managers and cross-functional teams to align facilities strategy with Synopsys’ business goals and growth plans.

Developing and leading strategic initiatives for facilities operations, including space planning, workplace innovation, and service optimization across multiple European sites.

Presenting comprehensive quarterly and annual business reviews to executive leadership, providing insights on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Managing complex projects such as major renovations, office relocations, and technology system upgrades to ensure seamless operations.

Implementing strategic sourcing and vendor management strategies to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.

Driving sustainability initiatives and ensuring compliance with Synopsys’ environmental commitments and governance frameworks.

Developing and maintaining business continuity and emergency response plans for all facilities in the portfolio.

Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing facilities team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need:

6+ years of progressive facilities management experience in large commercial or technology organizations.

Track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

Fluency in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written).

Strong financial acumen, with experience managing substantial operational and capital budgets.

Advanced knowledge of building systems, workplace strategies, and facilities management best practices.

Experience implementing technology solutions to enhance facilities operations.

Strategic thinking with expertise in translating business objectives into operational strategies.

Exceptional leadership and team development skills.

Outstanding communication and executive presentation abilities.

Advanced problem-solving skills and experience leading major facilities projects.

Availability to travel occasionally.
