What You’ll Be Doing:
- Process EBSD data and generate synthetic microstructures using Ansys tools.
- Set up and run crystal plasticity simulations and compute fatigue indicator parameters.
- Analyze simulation results, validate observed trends, and support technical documentation.
- Contribute to TechDemo presentations and journal publications for product validation.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics and materials behavior.
- Basic experience with finite element analysis and numerical modeling.
- Knowledge of crystal plasticity, EBSD, microstructure modeling, or fatigue analysis (preferred).
- Experience with Ansys Mechanical, CP-FEM, or similar simulation tools (preferred).
- Proficiency in Python and strong technical writing skills (preferred).
