You cut through ambiguity, diagnose issues and provide timely workaround and drive the right solutions. You work well with field/customers and turn product knowledge into practical outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead technical resolutions of test technology deployments, partnering with R&D, Product, and Field teams.
  • Influence technical priorities on requirements across customer programs and internal initiatives in the areas of test compression technology, integration with scan implementation tools and test vector generation.
  • Define and follow best practices for design test methodology reviews, support of field teams, signoff checklists, and engagement models
  • Drive AI-enabled flow initiatives using TestMAX DFT, TestMAX ATPG, and TestMAX Manager to improve integration and debug workflows
  • Create feedback loops with R&D and Product to improve tool quality, documentation, and enablement
  • Use issues for trend analysis and field feedback to strengthen deployment quality

The Impact You Will Have

  • Shape how Synopsys supports customers via field in critical DFT and ATPG engagements.
  • Catch methodology gaps and tool limitations early, reducing schedule risk before tape-out
  • Improve adoption and deployment quality of Synopsys test products through stronger field-to-product feedback loops
  • Create successful outcomes, strengthening trust in strategic accounts

  • Hands-on experience in DFT for SoC and ASIC development, with a strong track record of customer-facing technical leadership and applications engineering
  • Deep expertise in ATPG, DFT, BIST, and logic test methodologies, including hands-on experience with TestMAX DFT, TestMAX ATPG, and TestMAX Manager or equivalent products.
  • Strong execution skills and the ability to build technical plans, manage risks and dependencies, lead escalations, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience integrating DFT into synthesis flows, creating tester-ready ATPG vectors with signoff results, and supporting tape-out handoff milestones
  • Experience supporting customers through critical tape-out schedules is a strong plus, especially in competitive accounts

Who You Are

  • You know how to engage field/customers and R&D to find root causes and move toward resolution
  • You can explain complex DFT/ATPG tradeoffs or tool limitations clearly to senior stakeholders without losing technical nuance
  • You are comfortable supporting multiple programs while maintaining rigor, urgency, and clear communication
  • You think in terms of scalability, solving the immediate problem while improving the approach for future customers
  • You document well and communicate clearly, whether through escalation plans, proof-of-concept summaries, or gap analyses
  • You are willing to travel occasionally to support critical customer engagements when in-person collaboration matters
