You Are:
An experienced ASIC/SoC/IP Engineer with a passion for working across various market segments, including AI, Cloud, Networking, and Storage. You have a solid technical background in IC Digital, Mixed Signal, or Analog design and verification, combined with experience in a sales support or direct customer-facing role. Your excellent oral and written communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical solutions effectively. You are self-motivated, organized, and possess strong interpersonal and project management skills. You can work efficiently in a matrix environment and have a strategic perspective on available IP product lines and IP-related services offerings. You thrive in competitive situations, pursuing opportunities with energy and drive, and you can independently resolve a wide range of issues creatively. Ideally, you hold a relevant Bachelor's degree with at least 15+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 11+ years of experience. Familiarity with interface and connectivity protocols like SerDes, PCIe, DDR, USB, MIPI, or Ethernet is a plus.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Articulating the business and technical value of our solutions and products to senior managers and technical decision-makers within Synopsys and our customers.
- Understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
- Positioning our technical solutions in competitive situations.
- Liaising between our worldwide technical, marketing, and sales leaders.
- Owning and driving technical solution strategy and design.
- Supporting sales and BU management in setting negotiation parameters.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Driving customer engagements for multiple IP product lines, ensuring customer-specific feature sets and schedule requirements are met.
- Collaborating with Sales, R&D, Program Management, and Marketing to deliver winning solutions.
- Enhancing the usability, applicability, and adoption of Synopsys' products, platforms, and solutions.
- Providing technical and engineering insight to support customers' chip designs using the Synopsys IP portfolio.
- Contributing to the success of our customers and the growth of Synopsys' business.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of complex SoC projects across multiple sites and time zones.
What You’ll Need:
- Solid technical background in IC Digital, Mixed Signal, or Analog design and verification.
- Experience in a sales support or direct customer-facing role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Experience and understanding of technical requirements and applications for at least one major semiconductor IP product line.

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details on the total rewards package upon request. The base salary range for this role is across the U.S.
