Senior Product Marketing Manager – Security IP
We Are
Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
You have spent years translating complex security technologies into messages that actually land with chip architects, system engineers, and executives who need to understand why this IP matters to their roadmap. You know the difference between a product brief that gets filed away and one that a sales engineer pulls up in a live customer call. You think in launches, not announcements.
You do not wait for perfect alignment to start building content. You talk to product managers, sit in on sales calls, absorb what customers actually care about, and turn that into messaging frameworks, battle cards, and presentations that work. You are comfortable owning the entire go-to-market motion for a product line, from positioning through launch execution to sales enablement, and you know how to keep five workstreams moving without dropping quality.
You push back when messaging is too vague or a launch plan skips the audience it is supposed to reach. At Synopsys, you will work on security IP that powers semiconductors across AI, automotive, data center, and IoT markets, and the content you create will directly shape how sales teams and customers understand what we build.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and execute the complete go-to-market strategy for Synopsys' Security IP portfolio, including positioning, messaging, content planning, product launches, and sales enablement
- Develop and maintain messaging frameworks that translate technical security offerings like cryptography, root of trust, secure boot, and interface security into narratives that resonate with semiconductor companies, system OEMs, and hyperscalers
- Drive product launches and major updates from concept through execution, creating campaign briefs, defining target audiences, building content, and delivering sales enablement assets on time and ready to use
- Create high-impact content including product briefs, solution overviews, sales decks, customer presentations, event materials, battle cards, competitive positioning, blogs, and white papers that support demand generation and sales conversations
- Maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings, security standards, and market trends to build and update competitive comparison materials that sales teams actually use
- Act as the go-to marketing partner for sales, field marketing, and campaigns on Security IP topics, tailoring messaging and assets for verticals like AI, automotive, data center, networking, industrial, mobile, consumer, and IoT
- Support customer meetings, executive briefings, and industry events, bringing the voice of the customer back into product planning to ensure security IP solutions align with real-world requirements
The Impact You Will Have
- Sales teams will use your messaging and content in live customer conversations because it is clear, accurate, and speaks to what customers care about
- Product launches will run smoothly with complete enablement packages that field teams trust and reuse across regions and verticals
- Competitive positioning materials will give sales the confidence to articulate why Synopsys Security IP wins in AI, automotive, data center, and IoT applications
- Customer success stories and advocacy programs will demonstrate measurable outcomes in silicon design, IP integration, and performance, strengthening our market position
- Cross-functional teams including product management, R&D, campaigns, and field marketing will rely on your frameworks and content to align their work and reach the right audiences
- Security IP portfolio visibility and adoption will grow because your go-to-market execution connects technical differentiation to business value
- The quality and consistency of Security IP messaging across all channels will improve, making it easier for customers and prospects to understand what we offer and why it matters
What You'll Need
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or technical marketing for security solutions, semiconductor IP, or SoC technologies
- Proven track record delivering product launches, go-to-market plans, and sales enablement assets that field teams actually use
- Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences, from chip architects to executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating messaging frameworks, product briefs, sales decks, battle cards, and customer-facing content
- Background in security technologies such as cryptography, root of trust, secure interfaces, or compliance is a strong plus
- Experience supporting AI, automotive, data center, networking, mobile, consumer, or IoT markets is a strong plus
- Comfort working closely with product management, sales, and field marketing teams in a matrixed global organization
Who You Are
- You can sit in a technical review with R&D, absorb what makes the security IP differentiated, and walk out with a messaging brief that a sales engineer in Japan can use the next day
- You manage multiple launches and content workstreams in parallel without losing track of quality, timelines, or what each stakeholder needs
- You make prioritization and execution decisions independently, communicate progress and risks proactively, and do not wait for someone to tell you what to build next
- You push back when a launch plan is missing its audience or when messaging is too technical for the buyer it is supposed to reach
- You are comfortable supporting customer meetings and executive briefings, tailoring your message on the fly based on who is in the room and what they care about
- You focus on delivering work that gets used, not just strategy decks that look good in a review
The Team You'll Be Part Of
