You Are:
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain management and a knack for optimizing processes. You thrive in dynamic environments and are adept at managing complex relationships with contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers. Your expertise in supply chain deliverables, coupled with your strong communication and negotiation skills, allows you to navigate challenges and drive cost-effective solutions. You possess a deep understanding of hardware manufacturing operations and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and adaptability make you a valuable asset in ensuring supply continuity and risk mitigation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Interface with cross-functional teams to assess current and future manufacturing service requirements.
- Work closely with CM to adhere to Synopsys commodity sourcing strategy and negotiated commercial terms.
- Collaborate with CM to improve productivity and manufacturing value add cost.
- Review CM quotations and negotiate on product cost, NRE, material excess and obsolescence, special services.
- Identify and implement new opportunities for cost savings and avoidance.
- Manage overall commercial relationships, including supplier performance and capability development.
- Monitor current supply chain conditions to identify challenges and develop continuity plans.
- Advise management on global supply chain challenges, risks, and pricing trends that could impact the business.
- Manage compliance to MSA and Service Level Agreements at the product level.
- Monitor CM MRP management, MOQ, inventory, safety stock, and pre-paid inventory, tariff. Report on issues.

- Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity of supply.
- Contribute to the development of strategic sourcing initiatives and cost reduction strategies.
- Provide valuable insights to management on supply chain challenges and opportunities.
- What You’ll Need:
- BA degree or BS degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing CM and its supply chain deliverables.
- Knowledge of outsource manufacturing service models.
- Understanding of hardware manufacturing operations disciplines.
- Proven CM management experience and capability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Background working with PDM tools (Arena or Agile) and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-savvy.
