We are looking at an ASIC Digital Verification Engineer(R&D) based in our offices in Tokyo, Japan.

The candidate will be responsible for the development of PCI Express and CXL Controller IPs.

The candidate will work with team in Tokyo and our internationally based team closely.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write verification plans and specifications
  • Review test plans and verification code and make architecture judgments on test bench design
  • Write UVM verification test bench architecture, agents, and test sequences
  • Implement SVA for functional and formal verification
  • implement coverage and review coverage results

Key Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years(BS) / 1+ years(MS) of ASIC design verification and have knowledge about SyestemVerilog and UVM, Object oriented coding and verification
    • Ability to develop/maintain Test Environment
    • Test Planning, Testcase , Coverage closure, Assertion based verifications
  • Good problem solving skills through strong analytical skills and ability
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and Japanese
  • Good mindset to learn and enjoy something new

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of one or more Interface protocols(e.g. PCI Express, CXL)
  • Knowledge of C/C++, TCL, Perl, Python
  • Experience using formal verification tools like Jasper or VC Formal is a plus
  • Experience of working with Functional safety, ISO26262 , FMEDA is an added advantage
