What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for Synopsys' DesignWare Processor product line, including ARC processors, subsystems, and ASIP tools.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their technical requirements and present tailored solutions that address their SoC and embedded processor needs.
  • Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions to showcase the value and capabilities of Synopsys processor IP.
  • Work closely with the sales team to strategize, plan, and execute technical sales engagements that drive business success.
  • Support customers through the evaluation process, addressing technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth adoption of Synopsys technology.
  • Gather and feedback customer requirements and market insights to Synopsys product and R&D teams, influencing future product development.
  • Travel (up to 30% within Japan) to customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings to foster strong partnerships and stay at the forefront of technology trends.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master’s preferred (MSEE).
  • 7~10+ years of relevant experience in SoC/ASIC design and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of RISC and DSP processor architectures, as well as embedded system design.
  • Hands-on experience with RTL (Verilog) coding, synthesis, and physical design flows.
  • Experience with DSP algorithms (wireless communication, LiDAR/RADAR, image processing, advanced sensors) and/or AI/ML-based system design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of security concepts and standards for secure SoC design, and familiarity with automotive functional safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese is highly desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% within Japan.
