You Are:

As StarRC sign-off AE, you will be working with customers, R&D and PE on customer's project sign-off and newly developed features and drive their adoption. The main tasks will be handling customer tape-out support, evaluations, supporting customers at an engineering level, understanding customer requirements and proposing new enhancements for product improvement. You will require good problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work with local & global teams and excellent communication skills.

Duties include technical trainings/presentation creation and delivery, beta testing, documentation review, demo creation, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partnering closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions using Synopsys software and IP products.
  • Providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance throughout the customer design cycle, from evaluation to production
  • Delivering product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions to enable customers’ technical teams to maximize product value.
  • Collaborating with R&D and product management to communicate customer needs, influence product roadmaps, and drive product improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, application notes, and best practices guides to enhance customer self-sufficiency.  
  • Leading or contributing to technical escalations, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions within customer application services.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor design, EDA tools, or applications engineering roles. 
  • Deep understanding of digital and/or analog IC design flows, verification methodologies, and/or embedded software development.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, TCL, Perl).  
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Korean is a strong plus.
