You Are:

You are a dedicated and experienced Verification Engineer with a strong background in pre-silicon verification and a passion for innovation. With a solid understanding of verification processes, you thrive in dynamic environments where you can collaborate with experts in digital design. You possess a creative mindset that allows you to resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions. Your expertise in System Verilog, HDL, and scripting languages such as Perl and Python is complemented by your knowledge of standard protocols like PCIe, DDR4, and AMBA. You have a proven track record of leading verification efforts and enjoy guiding junior peers. Your excellent communication skills make you an effective team player, and your experience in formal and power-aware verification is a plus. You are ready to take on the challenge of conceptualizing, planning, developing, and executing test environments that identify and resolve design bugs, contributing to the success of Synopsys' cutting-edge technology.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Understanding specifications and developing test benches for integrated IP subsystems.
  • Verifying advanced systems and solving problems of diverse scope in the verification field.
  • Leading verification efforts of sub-systems, flows, or complete features within a design.
  • Executing projects from start to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborating with a team of experts in dynamic digital design using the latest process technologies and tools.
  • Applying industry-leading methods and state-of-the-art tools to develop and execute test environments.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area.
  • 8+ years of experience verifying SoC devices, with at least 6 years dedicated to pre-silicon verification.
  • Demonstrated experience in UVM methodology-based verification.
  • Hands-on experience in System Verilog, HDL, and scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
  • Knowledge of standard protocols such as PCIe, DDR4, GDDR, HBM, and AMBA.
  • Experience with formal and power-aware verification is a plus.
  • Experience with design validation using Emulation, HAPs, or FPGA prototyping systems from RTL design is a plus.

  • Experienced in creating and executing verification/test plans.
  • Knowledgeable in modern verification processes, flows, methods, and standards.
  • Skilled in using tools such as Synopsys VCS and Verdi.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A team player with the ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
