You Are:
You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing workplace resources, facilities, and safety programs. You have a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset that enables you to oversee complex projects and lead diverse teams effectively. Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact seamlessly with senior management, stakeholders, and team members. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and adept at navigating the challenges of maintaining and enhancing physical work environments. Your commitment to safety, security, and operational excellence ensures that you can implement policies and programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. In addition, your ability to manage multiple priorities and allocate resources efficiently makes you an invaluable asset to Synopsys.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing the daily operations of locations across the region including Germany, Switzerland, and Romania ensuring that all services and functions are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Developing and implementing safety and security programs to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
- Managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions for workplace resources.
- Leading and mentoring a team of supervisors and managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Coordinating with senior management to align workplace resource strategies with broader business objectives.
- Monitoring and evaluating workplace policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in workplace resources, facilities management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations and best practices.
- Excellent budget management and contract negotiation skills.

- Must speak fluent German & have a good level of English.

You will collaborate closely with senior management, safety and security personnel, and various other departments to achieve our goals.
