What You’ll Be Doing:
- Performing sales activities, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to sustain renewal business and generate new business to meet annual sales quotas.
- Leading account management for high-value, complex, and global strategic accounts, representing the full portfolio of Ansys products and services.
- Identifying and defining solutions where Synopsys and Ansys offerings can be applied, collaborating with technical teams to deliver compelling customer presentations and drive new business opportunities.
- Conducting regular touchpoint activities such as management review meetings, trainings, seminars, and info days to strengthen relationships with key account stakeholders.
- Facilitating multiyear deal contract negotiations, creating ROI-based proposals to achieve wins for both the customer and Synopsys.
- Documenting customer requirements, metrics, and success criteria to demonstrate the ROI of Synopsys solutions and enhance sales profitability.
- Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, accurately entering data into Salesforce, and completing administrative tasks including quotation generation, order processing, and contract documentation.
- Mentoring junior sales professionals and supporting team success through leadership and knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field, plus 8+ years of experience OR 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in technical sales positions, growing key accounts into enterprise accounts.
- 4+ years’ experience as a senior/key/named account manager managing complex, high-value accounts.
- Advanced ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities, tracking progress autonomously.
- Proven executive presentation and persuasion skills, with excellent long-term strategic planning abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Synopsys and Ansys products/services and pricing practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis, technology, and territory-specific nuances.
- Proficiency in sales fundamentals, independently executing sales pillars and coaching others on complex matters.
- Fluent in English and the local language of the territory.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
