What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support analog and transistor-level design flows and assist with debugging day-to-day CAD and flow-related issues.
- Help configure design environments and support project teams throughout the design cycle.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts and utility programs to automate engineering workflows and improve productivity.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to analyze issues, follow established methodologies, and contribute to process improvements.
- Assist with technical documentation and communicate findings clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across teams while learning industry-standard tools, flows, and best practices.
What You’ll Need:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, ECE, EEE, VLSI, Microelectronics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates from the class of 2024 or 2025 only.
- Not currently enrolled or completed any M.Tech program or postgraduate diploma.
- Not employed in any full-time role at any company (limited internship experience is acceptable).
- Basic understanding of integrated circuits, analog/custom design concepts, and semiconductor design methodologies.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to the VLSI domain, including familiarity with concepts such as DRC/LVS, extraction, simulation, or EMIR.
- Familiarity with Cadence or Custom Designer EDA tools.
- Experience through coursework, projects, or internships in Python, TCL, Shell, or Perl scripting for engineering automation.
