You are an accomplished Analog Design Architect who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and shaping the future of semiconductor technology. With a robust foundation in PHY analog pre-silicon and post-silicon processes, you bring a wealth of expertise in physical IP design, including SERDES, DDR, and advanced memory interfaces. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving the development of world-class high-performance Die-to-Die (D2D) IPs to enable customer chiplet-based system design wins across diverse industries.
- Designing, developing, and evaluating PHY analog components for both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
- Leading the definition and path-finding for next-generation Die-to-Die IP architectures, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in silicon integration.
- Customizing PHY designs to address specific client requirements, optimizing for application-specific performance, power, and area (PPA) targets.
- Performing critical design trade-offs and implementing advanced flows and methodologies to streamline the analog design process.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless integration of analog and digital components within complex SoC environments.
- Providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need:
- 15+ years of experience in PHY analog design, encompassing both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation phases.
- Deep knowledge of physical IP such as SERDES, DDR/HBM, or Die-to-Die IO interfaces.
- Expertise in performing and documenting design trade-offs, developing advanced flows, and employing industry-leading design methodologies.
- Proficiency in generating and communicating detailed specifications and documentation for both internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to collaborate across multi-site teams, effectively troubleshooting and solving complex mixed-signal interface challenges.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard design tools and EDA software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of making strategic technical decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving technical solutions across organizations, functions, and geographies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at working in cross-functional, globally dispersed teams.
- PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 15+ years of practical analog IC design experience.
- Bonus skills: Expertise in layout effects (matching, reliability, proximity effects), Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling, and scripting languages (TCL, Perl, C, Python, MATLAB).
