You Are:

A technical powerhouse as well as subject matter expert in PCI Express protocols, with a proven track record in working successfully in IP product developments while focused on verification. You thrive in a matrixed, international, and team-oriented environment with multiple stakeholders. Work hands-on, having a collaborative mindset, thinking clearly and concisely when capturing requirements, and maintaining a proactive attitude to achieve results. You are passionate about right first-time development, ensuring traceability of all verification requirements and covering the whole ecosystem of Controller and PHY.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Bridging and closing any gaps between the available or required Verification IP feature set and the Design IP verification of all its functions covering both the Controller and PHY. Reporting metrics and driving improvements of Verification IP.
• Using your expertise to drive requirements for the Verification IP and ensure its correct usage and deployment by the teams in their verification strategies for both Controller and PHY
• Staying ahead of the evolving standard, understanding the minute details of future changes, ECNs, specification Errata’s – and driving this understanding into both the Verification IP and Design IP Teams
• Critiquing the testplans in both the Verification IP and Design IP to be best in class, ensuring they deliver what is needed in function, feature and quality to rise to this level – a shift left in readiness of features, checks and coverage.

• Changing the mindset in the way we use the Verification IP in validating Digital designs and architectures
• Changing the mindset in evolving the Verification IP usability for the needs of verifying Design IPs
• Driving innovation in how defining requirements for IP product development feeds into VIP requirements
• Evolving/adopting and integrating best-in-class methodologies within the organization.
• Standardizing and optimizing workflows to increase efficiency and compliance.

What You’ll Need:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Be results driven
• Be a Subject Matter Expert on all things PCI Express – Link Layer, PHY Layer
• Be UVM savy 
• Proven track record on an IP product development, either developing Verification IP or using Verification IP
• Experience in working in cross-functional collaborations
• Be an excellent communicator and a beacon for change
• Be adaptable and comfortable in a matrixed, international environment
