You Are:

A highly skilled and motivated ASIC Digital Design Engineer with a passion for technology and innovation. You have a deep understanding of digital design and a proven track record in the industry. You have built up expertise at the SoC level and are experienced in the challenges of integrating multiple 3rd party IP’s in a single SoC. You have been exposed to the rigour required for SoC’s deployed in an Automotive Application.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions. You are detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in technology. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work closely with Functional Safety and Digital Design Engineers from multiple Digital Interface Controller teams to ensure consistency in Safety Architectures and Assumptions of Use (AoU’s)
  • Collaborate with our pre and post sales application engineering team to guide on implementation specific queries in relation to our Automotive Digital Interface Controller IPs
  • Be the voice of the customer in IP Safety Architecture reviews 
  • Develop detailed practical user guides for our customers in relation to Safety Architecture AoUs and external safety mechanisms
  • Assess the feasibility of converting IP level external safety mechanisms to internal safety mechanisms in a practical and pragmatic manner
  • Define and develop scalable internal safety mechanisms that can be leveraged across multiple IP’s
  • Define and develop ASIC RTL design and verification at both chip level and block level.
  • Perform RTL coding, synthesis, and simulation to ensure design functionality and performance.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Debug and resolve design issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Enhance the functionality and performance of Synopsys' Automotive Digital Interface Controller IPs. 
  • Drive innovation and improve Safety Architectures within the team. 
  • Ensure the successful delivery of complex ASIC projects on time and within budget. 
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and optimized solutions for our customers. 


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Extensive experience in ASIC digital design and verification. 
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Interface Protocols. 
  • Strong knowledge of the challenges of integrating multiple 3rd party IPs within a single SoC
  • Proficiency in RTL coding (Verilog/SystemVerilog) and simulation tools. 
  • Experience with synthesis, timing analysis, and formal verification. 
  • Experience with SoC’s targeting ISO26262 compliance
