At Synopsys, we drive the innovations that shape the way we live and connect. Our technology is central to the Era of Pervasive Intelligence, from self-driving cars to learning machines. We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.

You Are:

An inventive and passionate engineer, you thrive at the intersection of advanced technology and real-world impact. With a strong foundation in computer engineering, computer science, or mechatronics, along with hands-on experience in software architecture and development, you are motivated by creating high-performance simulation solutions that power the future of self-driving cars, mobile devices, and virtual reality experiences. Analytical thinking and a talent for translating complex requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions are among your key strengths.

Collaboration and mentorship come naturally, and you value sharing knowledge and shaping the direction of technical projects. Equipped with expertise in C/C++, Python, and modern DevOps practices, you are adaptable, eager to learn, and energized by fast-paced, innovative environments where your contributions make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive feature development across the full software lifecycle—from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and release—for simulation solutions of virtual Electronic Control Units (vECUs).

Define comprehensive test strategies, ensure robust test coverage, and establish quality metrics for high-impact feature delivery.

Analyze customer and internal requirements, translating them into innovative and reliable technical solutions.

Enhance the performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing simulation and testing solutions to meet evolving industry needs.

Lead automation initiatives and workflow enhancements by developing advanced scripting and automation tools.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing design and code reviews to foster professional growth and uphold best practices.

Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, actively contributing to architectural discussions and strategic technical decisions.

The Impact You Will Have:

Revolutionize the development of next-generation automotive and embedded systems through advanced simulation and virtualization technologies.

Accelerate customers' time-to-market by delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance simulation tools.

Enhance software quality and reliability for leading automotive, telecom, and consumer electronics companies worldwide.

Drive innovation in simulation workflows, setting new benchmarks for test automation and software validation.

Empower teams to adopt modern development practices, resulting in higher productivity and reduced technical debt.

Contribute to Synopsys’ leadership in the global market by shaping solutions that underpin the Era of Smart Everything.

What You’ll Need:

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.

5+ years of professional software development experience, with proven expertise in C/C++.

Advanced Python skills for automation, scripting, and test infrastructure development.

Deep understanding of software architecture, full product lifecycle, object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with socket-based communication and inter-process communication (IPC) techniques.

Working knowledge of simulation principles, test automation, and CI/CD technologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Artifactory).

Experience in code refactoring and automated test coverage for complex software systems.

Ability to create comprehensive design and functional specifications.

Who You Are:

Self-motivated and driven by a strong work ethic, excelling with minimal supervision.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Eager to learn, experiment, and master new technologies.

Adaptable, resilient, and effective in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Collaborative team player with strong communication and mentoring skills.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
