What You’ll Be Doing:
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers in the Aerospace, Defence, and Automotive sectors.
- Deploying a proven customer engagement process to uncover customer pain points, understand their business challenges, and position the most effective Ansys solutions.
- Delivering impactful presentations that clearly articulate the value of Ansys products and services, using data-driven proof points to differentiate from competitors.
- Engaging with customers and prospects through multiple channels: phone, video calls, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings.
- Researching and identifying new leads within current accounts and exploring growth opportunities in untapped market segments.
- Developing clear, persuasive proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts for both new and renewal revenues, supporting strategic planning.
- Participating in industry trade shows, conventions, and organizing training sessions to expand business opportunities.
- Maintaining comprehensive account plans, profiling potential users and technical solutions for both current and prospective customers.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, technical, legal, and management teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

- Directly contributing to Ansys’ ambitious revenue growth, supporting the journey from $2.2bn to $5bn in five years.
- Accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge simulation software in high-impact industries, influencing technological advancement in Sweden and beyond.
- Strengthening customer relationships, ensuring high retention and satisfaction rates among global enterprise accounts.
- Bringing new business to fruition by identifying and nurturing opportunities within existing and new customer groups.
- Enhancing Ansys’ reputation as a trusted advisor and market leader in engineering simulation solutions.
- Improving team effectiveness through accurate forecasting, strategic account planning, and collaborative execution.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field.
- At least 1 year of demonstrated success in technical, business, or sales positions.
- Understanding of engineering analysis and technology applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Fluency in both English and Swedish, with eligibility to work in Sweden.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed, with a focus on office-based work when not visiting customers.
- Familiarity with Ansys products/services and pricing practices is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of the Swedish market and customer landscape in Aerospace, Defence, or Automotive sectors is advantageous.
