You Are:
You are a visionary and hands-on technical leader with a robust background in CPU and processor design. You thrive in complex, fast-moving engineering environments and are passionate about advancing the boundaries of digital design. With at least a decade of experience in digital frontend design or verification for IP businesses, you have earned a reputation for delivering high-quality results and elevating the capabilities of your team. Your expertise spans microprocessor, memory, and system architecture, and you’re adept at both RTL and high-level modeling. You have a proven track record of taking ownership of critical design blocks, guiding teams to successful project completion, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Your communication skills enable you to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders across functions, and you’re comfortable navigating multi-site, cross-functional collaborations. You are adept at balancing technical depth with strategic oversight, ensuring that projects not only meet but exceed quality and performance standards. Your leadership is characterized by a commitment to continuous improvement, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full ownership and accountability for the quality of delivery of one or more design blocks within Synopsys’ leading-edge DesignWare processor IP products.
- Authoring technical plans and specifications for assigned design functions while guiding and coaching team members through execution.
- Leading architecture, micro-architecture, RTL design, performance analysis, and verification/validation processes for high-performance and energy-efficient processors.
- Collaborating with cross-functional and cross-site teams on technical topics such as algorithms, methodologies, SoC prototyping, and system bring-up.
- Implementing, analyzing, debugging, and optimizing processor architectures, ensuring robust and efficient designs.
- Driving and managing project requirements, resource planning, risk assessment, and quality management to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
- Creating, modifying, and reviewing documentation including design/verification work plans, engineering quality processes, and test reports.

What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in digital frontend design or verification for processor IP development.
- Deep expertise in microprocessor, memory, and system architecture, with a strong grasp of both design and verification flows.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++, assembly languages, Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience with industry-standard tools: RTL linters, simulators, synthesizers, formal verification, coverage analysis, and CI/CD systems.
- Strong project management skills, including requirements profiling, resource allocation, schedule tracking, and risk assessment.
- Proven ability to create and review technical documentation, and to present engineering solutions to diverse audiences.
