What You’ll Be Doing:

• Under the guidance of a mentor, identify emulation backend problem and formulate them as typical floorplanning question, including a small reproducible test plan.
• Perform floorplanning from a set of extracted benchmarks that represent the ZeBu designs.
• Analyze and improve compilation runtime, memory usage, and total cutsize.
• Under the guidance of a mentor, work with ZeBu backend engineer to export the floorplan solution to ZeBu backend tools to evaluate performance pre and post FPGA compilation.
• Debug compilation issues and optimize design implementation strategies
• Automate workflow processes with agentic tools and compose skill knowledge.

What You’ll Need:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Enginnering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of digital design or computer architecture. 
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Programming (C++) or scripting experience (Python or Shell scripting)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
