You Are:
You are a seasoned ASIC Physical Design Engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, timing-clean designs. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy tackling complex challenges. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in physical design, you possess the creativity and judgment needed to resolve intricate design issues. Collaboration is one of your core strengths, and you excel in team-driven projects, guiding junior peers and networking with senior personnel. Your expertise in scripting with Tcl and Perl enhances your ability to optimize design flows and achieve project goals efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning the complete physical implementation process at both block and chip levels.
- Delivering timing-clean blocks and chip-level designs that meet specified targets.
- Ensuring DRC, LVS, and IR closure.
- Evaluating and setting up physical design flows, including place and route, timing, PV, and IR.
- Collaborating closely with the frontend design team to resolve design issues.
- Managing all chip-level tasks, including P&R, STA, PV, and IR.

What You’ll Need:
- MSEE/BSEE with 5+ years of related experience in ASIC physical design.
- In-depth understanding of physical design specialization and knowledge of related areas.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative approaches to resolving design issues.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl and Perl.
- Proficiency in physical design tools and methodologies, including P&R, STA, PV, and IR.
