Your expertise enables you to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholder. You possess a deep understanding of Aerospace & Defence industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, allowing you to craft compelling value propositions. This together with a clear knowledge of the local Aerospace & Defence market, a proven network of main industry companies and government organisations like Armed Forces, Procurement offices and agencies and a deep understanding of the entire Polish defence ecosystem enables you to be successful. You are driven by results, demonstrating exceptional planning and forecasting abilities, and you excel in executive presentations and negotiations. Your autonomy and proactive approach empower you to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to change, and deliver consistent growth for your accounts. Fluent in Polish and English language is mandatory, you seamlessly connect with diverse audiences, leveraging your networking skills to expand influence and drive innovation. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and nurturing long-term, strategic relationships with key global customers in the Aerospace & Defence vertical to ensure sustainable revenue growth through multi-year agreements.
  • Identifying and driving new business opportunities, leveraging industry expertise and networks to maximise partnership profitability and expand account reach in Poland.
  • Leading customer account planning cycles, aligning Ansys solutions with customer business priorities, and articulating the value-added benefits to achieve consistent year-over-year growth.
  • Collaborating with internal account teams, product specialists, our Channel Partner ecosystem, and other external partners to deliver synergistic solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Facilitating regular touchpoint activities such as management review meetings, trainings, seminars, and info days to strengthen relationships and foster engagement.
  • Managing complex contract negotiations, creating ROI-based proposals, and ensuring successful outcomes for both Ansys and the customer.
  • Maintaining healthy sales pipelines and accurate data entry in Salesforce to track progress and ensure quota attainment.
  • Represent Ansys in specific conferences, congresses, trade fairs and other marketing events regularly

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field, with 8+ years of experience OR 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Former military services expertise is highly appreciated 
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales or business development, growing key accounts into enterprise-level partnerships, lead business development activities.
  • 4+ years’ experience as a senior/key/named account manager, managing complex and high-value accounts.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities, with excellent tracking and organizational skills.
  • Proven executive presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, especially in complex deal environments.
  • Excellent strategic planning abilities and long-term vision for account growth.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering analysis, technology, and Ansys products/services.
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
