What You’ll Be Doing:

Design and implement backend components for the Engineering Portal
Develop and maintain deployment and packaging workflows, focusing on customer private-cloud and on-premise environments
Support and improve deployment processes for customer-hosted installations
Write integration-level and system-level tests to ensure reliability and quality
Contribute to automation of build, release, and deployment processes
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services in customer deployment environments
Contribute to documentation and best practices for deployment and operations

What You’ll Need:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go
Understanding of backend service development and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with databases (relational like PostgreSQL or NoSQL like MongoDB)
Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Understanding of software testing concepts (integration and system testing)
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, especially in private-cloud or on-prem setups; exposure to deploying and operating software in customer-managed environments; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools; knowledge of deployment packaging and configuration management; familiarity with observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus); experience working in a large-scale or enterprise software environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Good communication and collaboration skills
Proactive and self-motivated mindset
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team
