- Design and implement backend components for the Engineering Portal
- Develop and maintain deployment and packaging workflows, focusing on customer private-cloud and on-premise environments
- Support and improve deployment processes for customer-hosted installations
- Write integration-level and system-level tests to ensure reliability and quality
- Contribute to automation of build, release, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services in customer deployment environments
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for deployment and operations
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go
- Understanding of backend service development and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with databases (relational like PostgreSQL or NoSQL like MongoDB)
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Understanding of software testing concepts (integration and system testing)
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms, especially in private-cloud or on-prem setups; exposure to deploying and operating software in customer-managed environments; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools; knowledge of deployment packaging and configuration management; familiarity with observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus); experience working in a large-scale or enterprise software environment
