What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including analog and systems designers, applications engineers, and customers—to resolve technical challenges and demonstrate leading-edge product performance.
  • Analyzing and characterizing circuit behavior and limitations in both silicon validation and characterization environments.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure products meet rigorous standards and protocol specifications.
  • Specifying, sourcing, and implementing advanced test equipment and components to support innovative test methodologies.
  • Generating detailed test reports, meticulously documenting results, methodologies, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Designing and developing custom test boards and hardware solutions to facilitate robust product validation and evaluation.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting electronic circuits, investigating and resolving product non-conformance issues to ensure top-tier quality.

What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent field).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in post-silicon validation, lab instrumentation, characterization, and debug.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design and operation, including familiarity with ADC/DAC and SerDes architectures.
  • Proficiency in software programming (such as MatLab and Python) for test automation and comprehensive data analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using advanced lab equipment (BERTs, oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs) for high-speed circuit validation.
  • Experience in schematic entry, PCB design, and layout as well as data analysis, data review, and data mining for test results.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity principles, and familiarity with PAM-4 signaling test and debug.
