What You’ll Be Doing:
- Validate a high-performance interface for demanding applications, including automotive and high-bandwidth environments.
- Assisting customers in modernizing their systems and transitioning from legacy solutions.
- Implement and test Application Note guidelines in a Verilog-based test design to ensure system compliance and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to learn about interface protocols, RTL design, and validation processes.
- Document findings and share results through effective communication and reporting.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (L.EEC).
- Introductory knowledge of digital logic design (combinational/sequential circuits, basic FSMs).
- Basic familiarity with Verilog or a strong willingness to learn through hands-on experience.
- Eagerness to understand interface protocols, RTL design, and validation processes.
- Curious mindset and readiness to learn from practical challenges.
- Good communication and basic documentation skills.
Key Program Facts:
- Program Length: 6 months (defined by the University)
- Location: Moreira da Maia, Maia. Portugal
- Working Model: Onside, 1 day a week (Friday's as per University guidelines)
- 8 hours weekly (defined by the University)
- Start Date: February 2026
