What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Acting as the owner of product and engineering documentation within the Synopsys PLM system for assigned products or programs.
  • Ensuring all documents required for manufacturing are approved, released, and controlled before being provided to Contract Manufacturer (CM) factories.
  • Managing and maintaining engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Executing document control activities, ensuring version control, traceability, and compliance with internal standards and quality requirements.
  • Processing and coordinating engineering change requests (ECR/ECO), document revisions, and product data updates through defined workflows.
  • Performing quality checks and consistency reviews on engineering data to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to release.
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering teams to support product development, design changes, and data readiness for manufacturing.
  • Working with Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure documentation supports efficient, compliant, and on-time production execution.
  • Interfacing with external manufacturing partners and contractors to support documentation alignment and issue resolution.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of PLM/PDM tools, document control processes, and data quality standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal procedures, quality systems, and applicable industrial and regulatory standards.

  • Enable efficient, compliant, and on-time production execution by providing accurate, structured product data to manufacturing partners.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and external partners to resolve documentation issues and promote best practices.
  • Support the integrity and traceability of engineering data, ensuring products meet internal and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Need:

  • Engineering degree in Electronics or a closely related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
  • Strong background in electronic assemblies and manufacturing processes, including complex products and multilevel structures.
  • Proven experience in Document Control, Product Data Management, or Engineering Services within manufacturing or engineering organizations.
  • Solid working knowledge of PLM and PDM tools; experience with Synopsys PLM is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with standard documentation, PLM/PDM, and data analysis tools.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus.
