You Are:
You are a highly skilled engineering professional with a deep passion for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and simulation technologies. You thrive in environments where complex technical challenges are the norm, and your extensive experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering has equipped you with the expertise to solve multidisciplinary problems. You are an expert user of ANSYS Fluids software products, including Fluent, CFX, and Workbench, and you’re adept at leveraging these tools to drive customer success. You take pride in sharing your knowledge, whether it’s through training sessions, consulting engagements, or collaborating with sales teams to showcase the value of advanced simulation solutions.
Your approach is both analytical and creative—combining rigorous engineering principles with innovative thinking to streamline workflows and enable customers to achieve their goals faster and more efficiently. You are comfortable working independently, yet you’re also a strong team player, able to collaborate across diverse groups and communicate technical concepts with clarity. You have a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, consistently delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Consulting with customers to solve complex engineering problems using ANSYS Fluids software and related CAE tools.
- Demonstrating the value of ANSYS vision and software to sales prospects, actively supporting direct and indirect sales teams to drive growth.
- Training customers and internal teams in the effective usage of ANSYS simulation products, enhancing their proficiency and independence.
- Creating and presenting impactful software demonstrations and novel simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows and support the sales process.
- Teaching introductory and advanced training classes on ANSYS simulation products, sharing your expertise and fostering knowledge transfer.
- Collaborating with Product Development to relay customer feedback and improve ANSYS software products and user experience.
- Proactively identifying new opportunities and risks by understanding customer workflows and technical needs, and communicating these insights to Sales.

What You’ll Need:
- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in mechanical or aerospace engineering (CFD-oriented).
- Minimum 7 years of industrial experience in simulation, product development, or engineering design.
- Expert-level knowledge of CFD, multi-phase flow modeling, turbo machinery, design optimization, and multi-physics simulation.
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS CFD, ANSYS CFX, and related software packages.
- Experience with other CAE tools such as Star CCM+, CFD-ACE, SC/Tetra, and ANSA is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of creating engineering solutions for customer challenges.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, AI/ML development/deployment, or other commercial CAE software is a plus.
