Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.
You Are:
You are a highly accomplished technical leader with a deep-rooted passion for hardware emulation and deployment. With over a decade of hands-on experience in the EDA industry, you have become a trusted authority on high-performance emulation platforms such as ZeBu and HAPS. Your expertise bridges the theoretical innovations of R&D with the practical realities of data center installations, making you the go-to expert for complex hardware deployments and troubleshooting. You thrive in environments that demand precision, adaptability, and the ability to communicate technical requirements across diverse teams and stakeholders. Your approach is methodical, detail-oriented, and results-driven; you are relentless in your pursuit of operational excellence and are known for your ability to resolve crises when others cannot. You are comfortable interfacing with C-level executives, field engineers, and hardware designers, translating intricate hardware architectures into clear, actionable installation strategies. Your leadership is rooted in influence and collaboration rather than direct management, enabling you to guide teams through best practices, knowledge transfer, and strategic decision-making. You value continuous learning and innovation, and you seek opportunities to shape the future of emulation deployment methodology. Your global perspective and willingness to travel make you a vital asset in supporting critical installations and consulting on major customer projects worldwide. Above all, you are motivated by the challenge of working at the bleeding edge of semiconductor design verification, remaining hands-on with the most powerful emulators in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing the technical roadmap for the installation and deployment of ZeBu and HAPS emulation systems across global sites.
- Defining and validating data center requirements, including power loads, cooling dynamics, rack layouts, and complex cabling architectures.
- Translating advanced R&D configurations into executable physical installation plans tailored to specific chip design architectures.
- Architecting the “Golden Sequence” for installation diagnostics, establishing protocols to ensure successful deployments.
- Serving as the final escalation point for critical hardware failures, leading root cause analysis and crisis resolution efforts.
- Interfacing with Senior Executives to report on infrastructure readiness, deployment risks, and hardware return on investment.
- Acting as the primary technical liaison between R&D hardware designers and Field/Application Engineers, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and best practices.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Ensuring flawless installations of the most advanced emulation platforms in the industry, accelerating chip design verification cycles.
- Driving consistency and excellence in data center readiness and hardware deployment across global R&D and customer sites.
- Reducing downtime and deployment risks through expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and crisis management.
- Enhancing collaboration between Field Engineers, R&D teams, and Senior Executives, fostering alignment on technical and business objectives.
- Establishing best practices for power and data cabling, supporting scalability and future innovation in emulation infrastructure.
- Influencing the strategic direction of Synopsys’ hardware deployment methodology, ensuring our technology remains at the forefront of the industry.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering; MBA preferred.
- 10-15+ years of relevant experience in the EDA industry, with direct hands-on expertise in ZeBu and HAPS platforms.
- Expert-level knowledge of data center logistics, including three-phase power, cooling, rack layouts, and cabling interconnects (copper/optical).
- Ability to architect systematic troubleshooting trees and diagnostic protocols for proprietary hardware.
- Proven experience navigating complex technical and political landscapes involving Field Engineers, Application Engineers, and C-level Executives.
Who You Are:
- Influential leader and trusted advisor, guiding teams through technical complexity without direct management.
- Exceptional communicator, able to translate physical layer constraints for both technical and business audiences.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Adaptable and resilient, capable of handling high-pressure situations and critical deployments.
- Collaborative and inclusive, fostering knowledge transfer and best practices across global teams.
- Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement in hardware deployment methodologies.
The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
