What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and analyzing Static Timing Analysis (STA) algorithms to enhance Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) during post-placement optimization.
  • Driving the success of Synopsys’ physical design flow and EDA tools, ensuring robust and efficient product performance.
  • Contributing to the development and advancement of next-generation process nodes and design methodologies for cutting-edge semiconductor technology.
  • Collaborating within a highly skilled and dedicated team to deliver innovative solutions for STA during design and optimization stages.
  • Engaging in hands-on coding, debugging, and algorithm development to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Participating in cross-functional discussions to align technical solutions with business goals and customer needs.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design flows and methodologies.

What You’ll Need:

  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, including data structures, sorting/search algorithms, and numerical methods.
  • Ability to read and analyze code in C/C++, with hands-on experience in software development.
  • Strong desire to learn and explore emerging technologies, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to solve challenging technical problems.
  • Exceptional debugging skills and proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL).
  • Experience with Synopsys STA, EDA tools, or CAD flow development is a significant plus.
