What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-impact HAV Applications Engineering team supporting Synopsys Verification Group (VG) solutions across Japan and the APAC region.
• Drive customer success by overseeing complex deployments, troubleshooting, and optimization of VG products, ensuring best-in-class technical support and engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Product Management to align technical strategies with business objectives and market needs.
• Shape and execute customer enablement programs, technical workshops, and training sessions to maximize product adoption and satisfaction.
• Represent Synopsys VG at industry events, customer meetings, and executive briefings, articulating value propositions and gathering market feedback.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for AE performance, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence, driving continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve escalated customer issues, acting as the highest-level technical authority in the region.

What You’ll Need:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in applications engineering, technical support, or product enablement in the EDA or semiconductor industry.
• Deep technical knowledge of verification technologies, including simulation, formal verification, emulation, and hardware-assisted verification.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading geographically distributed teams.
• Proven ability to engage with senior-level customers, drive strategic initiatives, and manage complex projects.
• Fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of Synopsys VG products (e.g., VCS, ZeBu, Verdi, VIP) and competitive landscape.
