You Are:
An experienced and technically adept professional with a strong background in physical design methodologies and flows, particularly in the EDA or semiconductor industry. You thrive in customer-facing roles, leveraging your deep technical knowledge to provide exceptional pre and post-sales support. Your expertise spans across various phases of physical design, including floor planning, place and route, physical verification, and signal integrity. You are adept at explaining complex technical issues and have a thorough understanding of company products and their applications. Your excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities enable you to achieve consistent success in customer adoption of tools. You are a natural leader, capable of mentoring team members and managing complex tasks to timely completion. Your advanced sales acumen and superb communication skills make you an invaluable asset to both the technical and sales teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing technical pre/post-sales support to customers in physical design methodologies and flows.
- Collaborating with the sales team to drive business for physical design tools and services.
- Rolling out new product methodologies and setting up technical support processes.
- Mentoring other physical design AEs and Account Managers to leverage technical expertise.
- Conducting product demos, comparative benchmarks, and evaluations.
- Interfacing with the R&D team for tool enhancement and agile account planning.
- Developing solutions using in-depth knowledge of customer challenges.
- Supporting customer’s critical designs and potentially taking on a team lead role.

What You’ll Need:
- A BS in CS/EE with relevant experience in the EDA or semiconductor industry.
- Deep technical knowledge of physical design, including floor planning, place and route, physical verification, and signal integrity.
- Experience with timing signoff, extraction, low power design (multi-voltage/power gating), and LVS/DRC is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of company products and potential applications.
- Superb customer interface, negotiation, communication, and planning capabilities.
- Ability to manage complex tasks and achieve timely completion consistent with program schedule and cost constraints.
- Leadership skills to mentor team members.
- Advanced sales acumen.
