What You’ll Be Doing:

• Plan and execute installation, configuration, and maintenance of Synopsys Emulation and Prototyping hardware at customer sites worldwide.
• Perform system-level hardware integration, including chassis preparation, mounting mechanical components, board installation, and cable wiring.
• Travel frequently to customer sites to support new deployments, maintenance activities, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Diagnose hardware issues in the field and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze failures and define corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to review and improve production processes, ensuring high quality and reliability of Synopsys hardware.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware activities, configurations, issues, and resolutions; provide regular status reports to management.
• Support preventative maintenance and field upgrades to ensure long-term system stability and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in hardware support, systems engineering, manufacturing, or field service roles.
• Knowledge using JavaScript and NodeJS, a plus.
• Hands-on expertise with complex electronic hardware systems and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux environments, including command-line and scripting (bash, tcsh).
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and in remote locations with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including frequent domestic and international trips (often on short notice).
